But I would like to try again to convince you that, because finding "our common purpose" and becoming "of one mind in pursuing it together" is the crucial aspect of your scheme, always making efforts toward consensus is the crucial paradigm shift that is needed. By eliminating the "processes" where "where someone wins and someone loses", we can 'force' ourselves to seek consensus. If we can learn how that can be done, we won't need specially trained facilitators. We will learn more naturally that we really do have to listen carefully to each other.<BR/>Now I'm not so naive as to think that we can abandon resort to majority rule instantaniously, so I suggest that until we see the value (& learn the techniques), we make a commitment to each other <B>always continue our efforts toward consensus <I>even after we taken action</I> if we are unable to wait till consensus is reached before it becomes necessary to act!</B>Rexwww.hwcn.org/~aq680noreply@blogger.com
